The label has changed and the "Super" has been dropped and the bottle is squat, but the 7.5 ABV is the same.
I liked this Blond. It/she Looked appetising; a pretty full foam, but it ran away. (I have the effect.) Very fruity aromas, sweet malt wanting to be freed. Tastes were balanced with just enough bitter hops to keep the sweet malts in check. Medium-mouthed. I drank this with a cheese sandwich. It would pair well with more than a few other foods also.
Des Fagnes also has a restaurant. But I was annoyed that they had a Dutch/Flemish translation button, but not one for English. So I only give them good Overall Hugs. A Sante'!

*It's just called Fagnes Blonde now*
The last from a fourpack which was gifted to me by an awesome Walloon client and straight off the bat this is my favourite. The coriander esters are too strong for my tastes but not as prominent as in La Chouffe, and certainly more toned down than in the Fagnes Tripel. Not a great depth of flavour, just a really well dialled, slightly sweet but crisp Blonde. The citrusy aftertaste is amazing. Will search for some if/when I visit Wallonia.

Copenhagen 23/4 2021. 33 cl bottle from Beerdealer web-shop. Idyllic looking label with a green landscape with a Stag and a Bird of prey.
Pours slightly unclear golden yellow with a big white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin but lumpy layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, malty odor mingling with sweet fruity scents. Sweet malts and caramel. Banana and a bit of brown sugar. Marzipan.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a bitter undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
Solid Belgian Golden Ale. A tad too sweet for my taste buds.

A: Golden, clear, decent sized head which hung around for a while, left some lacing.
S: Sweet, fruity yeasty phenols.
T: Followed the nose with a pronounced yeasty sweetness, his the high abv very well.
M: Fairly light body for the high abv.
O: Not overly memorable but good, would revisit.

L- Mid amber, slightly cloudy, pours with 1Cm pillowy white head.
S- Quite mild, possibly some light spice.
T- Nice, a rich/powerful note, tastes like a Belgian Dubbel > Tripel.
F- It's trad, Belgian monastic style and punchy. One for the Belgian-trad hunters.
O- Nice, polished, absolutely zero wrong here. I'd happily buy it again...

Bottle, ordered from Belgianbeerz. It pours a light yellow color and a nice foamy head. Both the aroma and the flavor are excellent. A nice balance between a refreshing hop flavour, and the fuller flavor of a typical Belgian blonde. Reminds a bit of La Chouffe. Will defiintely order more of those next time. Best new beer I've tried in a while.
