Seems more of a fruited kettle sour than a wild ale, but that may because of the IPA aspect. Either way, very tasty. Tart and fruity, reminds me of grape juice (which is a surprise since it’s so berrycentric) with just a little kick.

Canned 11/22/23
I had the Royal Treatment variant of this one a while back and thought it was pretty good but definitely basic. This is even more straightforward, but I think the focus on just fruit will make this less basic and more exciting to drink. Let’s get into it
Pours an opaque reddish purple with a finger of soapy reddish pink head that fades to a ring and leaves decent lacing
This is super bright in the nose and nicely balanced. I’m picking up on aromas of jammy blueberry, blackberry, lemon juice, brown sugar, tart raspberry, graham cracker, and tart cherry
Oh yeah, this is has a great bite that you don’t often find in these. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting tart raspberry, lemon juice, jammy blueberry, blackberry, graham cracker, tart cherry, and light cranberry. The swallow brings notes of jammy blueberry, tart raspberry, lemon juice, brown sugar, tart cherry, cranberry, lime zest, and light vanilla
A medium body pairs with gentle carbonation, resulting in a rich and chewy beer. Finishes a tad sticky at first but the tartness dries it out eventually
Damn, this one is awesome. Leagues better than the already pretty good Royal Treatment variant

09/10/20. Plenty of foam, high pressure can. Dark purple, with light purple foam. Smells sweet, berry. Damn thick, rich and soft. Lightly tart and pretty sweet. Loads of general berryness, light touches of both specifically in the mix. Enjoyable for sure.

L: Dark juice, similar to dark currants, pomegranate, and blackberry. A thin partial and equally magenta head leaving minimal spots of lace.
S: I do not get the listed lemon and blueberries. It's more on the raspberry, blackberry, pomegranate spectrum. Very jammy and mouthwatering.
T: Right level sugars, not too sweet. But this does remind me most of berry preserves. Quite juicy and otherwise follows the nose.
F: Sweet but also bitter and drying. Tart and decently carbonated.
O: Nearly as impressive as Drekker's fruited sours, and that means best of the best! I can't wait to try the next release.
