Brewed with Hallertauer Tradition hops and conditioned on our American Oak Foudre. Flavors of honey over toasted biscuits, light flowers, and ending with subtle oak. Light bodied, crisp.

poured from a 16oz can into a FFF DLD nonic pint glass. pours a slightly foggy straw gold with three fingers of soapy white foam. white bread, lemon, grass and a touch of oak on the nose. almost hints at malt liquor aromas but it’s much more inviting than that. taste follows with some dry oak in the finish. damn smooth for 7% but you can definitely tell it carries some weight with it. medium-full mouthfeel with less carbonation than your typical 4-5% lager. pretty damn good. kind of refreshing in its own way yet the abv makes you slow down and not chug it.

16oz can from Tavour. Pale, clear golden, lively carbonation, frothy white head. Grainy aroma, fresh bread. Taste is bready, light sweet notes, full, faint lemon. Creamy, meaty feel. Tasty too. Love this style.

This one pours a golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like flowers, honey, sweet breadiness, and some fusel aromas.
I'm not really sure the world needs an imperial lager, but this is still cool to try overall. There's a big sweetness here that I don't love in my lagers, but the oak character adds a nice soft and spicy character. It definitely feels reminiscent of a Euro strong lager or something like that.
This is medium bodied, a bit too big and sweet, but still with a decent drinkability.
I liked the regular pilsner (Saaz + Hersbrucker) that I had better. This is intriguing, but just too sweet for me in the end.
