10 months old. Can to tumbler.
Look: Pitch black with no foam at all. Golden brownish floaters all over the place.
Smell: Sweet and roasty at the same time. Chocolate. Coffee. A bit boozy.
Taste: Maple sweetness up front followed by coconut and cocoa notes. Chocolate and coffee as well. Subtle fruity booziness in the background.
Feel: Very full and creamy despite its rather flat look. Thick and oily with a soft and pleasurable carbonation.
Overall: Very balanced stout with a great mouthfeel. All flavors are just right in place and all adjuncts fulfill a certain purpose. Great overall composition and another sublime brew within this series.

Served in a Teku glass from an 8oz can.
Appearance: Deep dark brown chocolate syrup. Dark tan head rose maybe one mm off the body. Soft bubbles to the frame.
Smell: Coconut and chocolate. Heavy molasses, toffee aroma which drenches the nostrils.
Taste: crazy complex. Candied coconut, rich dark chocolate and a heavy hint of sweet espresso offset with a chunk of maple syrup. The complexity is scary.
Mouth: Soft carbonation with a full body. Stickier than a pack of bubble gum under your shoe.
Overall: Glad I grabbed this, I hesitated a bit considering how expensive a 4-pack of this beer goes for at the brewery. One sip, thank me later, salud!
