The The Great Northern series has been on the radar for some time. Evil Twin makes some great beers and this is one of their top lines. The hype did not disappoint with this mammoth if a stout.
This iteration is liquid cake batter with cinnamon and chocolate. The body is intense and the mouth feel matches. The sweetness of the overall profile is held in check even though it inches towards pastrytown. Round of applause.
