"The first batch made of this was in fact 10% abv. That batch was made last winter and only sold in europe. I then changed the recipe to 8% to lighten it and make it easier to drink. That is what the beer will be from now on and the bottles in the US are the 8% version."

No canning date
Appearance: Pours a mostly hazy (30% clarity) light golden color with a strong white head that lingers. SRM of 7-8. (4.00)
Aroma: Strong aromas of lemongrass, lemonflower, and pine. Some sweet pineapple underneath. (4.00)
Flavor: Strong flavors of sweet lemon, lemonflower, pine. Sweet pineapple underneath. Finish is juicy and sweet. Minimal bitterness. (4.25)
Feel: Heavier bodied, appropriate carbonation. Smooth and sweet on the finish. (3.75)
Overall: Wasn't sure what to expect here with this Christmas IPA. Lots of sweet lemon, flower, and some pine and pineapple. Bright, but with hazy and juicy flavors on the finish. The flavors are excellent, but a bit sweeter and expected a bit more bitterness here. It's all hazy NEIPA style. Lots of lemon, lemonflower, orange, and sweet pineapple. The finish is sweet. It's a pretty decent NEIPA that packs a lot of flavor. (Rating: 4.08)

Anyone who knows a thing about beer wouldn’t buy this. It tastes like a Christmas tree but one that’s a month too old. The price point is absurd, esp when you consider the ABV. I’m obligated to drink the rest of the 4 pack but lord have mercy on my soul.

16oz can. Poured out a clear, golden orange color with a small, off-white head of fluffy foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of pine, resin, toffee, caramel and bread crust. Sweet tropical fruit with a sharp piney bitterness and toasted caramel backbone.

The hustle, bustle and fervor of the holidays and then all that extra time with the family warrants a yearning for all things dank and herbal. When that's the case, Evil Twin has a beer for the occasion.
Before, During and After Christmas Beer sets off with a creamy, pale and pastel light golden pour. Settling like mashed potatoes in the glass, a creamy citrus scent of orange, grapefruit and lime greet the nose along with a hoppy perfume of tropical fruit, orchard fruit and honey smacks. Sweet once on the tongue, the richer grain profile is chocked with cereal, cream, poundcake and honey.
The attention turns from grain to hops once the ale crosses the middle palate as the sweetness slowly fades and the hops quickly build. A burst of tropical fruit punch, fresh squeezed citrus, pawpaw, honeydew, young apricot and a vinous berry tanginess all seem wrapped in cream before the session turns herbal and bitter. Its late palate shares a resinous bite of peppery pine, bruised fruit rind, earthy greens and a dirty, mossy character of cannabis as the session closes bittersweet.
Full bodied and trending quite plush across the palate, the bold cereal quality of the beer prevents the premiere dryness of IPA from finishing cleaner or crisper. With a collection of gin-like botanicals and hemp, the session extends with a medium-long after palate, and a hope for post holiday serenity.

16oz can from Tavour. Hazy, milky straw colored body, creamy head thins out and leaves rings of lacing. Citrusy aroma, grapefruit peel and lemon curd. Taste adds oranges, more citrusy, juicy goodness, with just some late dull bitterness

Poured from the bottle into a shaker pint, the beer is a hazy, caramel coloring, with a steady flow of carbonation bubbling, and a frosty, clingy, light, off white head. Aromas of tangy caramal sweetness, tropical fruit sweetness including pineapple and melon, subtle hops bitterness, some berry sweetness, brown sugar, old world fruit sweetness including date and fig, and a toasted backbone. Flavors are bitter and resinous hops forward, with a tropical fruit follow of pineapple, melon, and mango. Rich and roasted caramel sweetness in the backbone, with some pine tassel, evergreen, and pine pitch bringing a bitterness to the palate. Effervescent on a mid-body, with a tangy sweet, citrus tart, and resinous hops bitter aftertaste. The finish is slick, oily, and slightly dry. Solid beer.
