Look - Pours a very dark ruby red/brown color with a very nice head.
Smell - Smell is kind of difficult to judge on this one. If I didn't know this barleywine had pistachios, pecans, and almonds, I wouldn't have guessed that from the nose. The smell is decent, but it's very hard to describe, unfortunately.
Taste - I can taste the nuts. Decent, but below expectations, especially after seeing the picture on the can. :-)
Feel - Has a nice feel to it. Nicely carbonated, creamy, and smooth.
Overall - A decent barleywine, but didn't quite have the nuttiness I was hoping for.
