Canned on 7/31/25; consumed on 8/20/25
Pours an opaque, dingy orange body topped with two fingers of fluffy, white foam; decent head retention leaves a firm, rounded island of cap, slight, frothy collar, and the occasional splotching of webby lacing around the walls of the glass.
Aroma opens to notes of fluffy wheat matched by dank lemon, with ripe guava wafting tropical overtones as musty mango develops a sappier, more resinous edge to the bouquet.
Taste brings dank lemon upfront, accented delicately with edges of musty oregano, a herbal interlude guiding overripe guava contrasts over the mid-palate; grapefruit on the back end sees a level citrus element through the finish.
Mouthfeel shows a medium body and fluffy, moderate carbonation; a slick, resinous texture prevails through the mid-palate, finishing somewhat creamy as an earthy subtext lingers past the swallow.
A quiet display of citrus and resins, rife with an airy restraint; a consummately mediated NEIPA.
