On tap at Fiddler's Hearth in South Bend, IN on 8/21/12, served in a nonic pint.
Pour: Lightly hazy yellow with a finger head. Nice lacing.
Smell: Burst of banana, lemon, and to my pleasure, kiwi! Bready malt / honey background. This is super inviting.
Taste: Follows the nose really well, with banana and lemon hitting home first. Kiwi holds in there really well. Some apple notes pop out, especially halfway through the glass. A yeasty/honey breadyness.
Mouthfeel: Not only does this beer taste great, but it goes down so easily. I would love to drink this regularly.
Overall: Pretty cool beer. I would get again for sure.

On tap at Boombozz. Pours a hazy golden color with the slightest of heads. Smells of banana, wheat and smells tart. Can't really catch the chit on the nose. Taste is fantastic. Banana, yeast upfront followed by a really nIce tartness. Mouthfeel is nice. Medium, perfect carbonation. Overall, I'd have this again in a heartbeat. Not a hefe fan, but the tartness makes this very enjoyable. Well done flat 12.

Pours hazy light straw color with a small white head with decent retention.
Smells of wheat along with some lemon and a bit of what I'm guessing is the kiwi.
This beer has amazing flavor. Typical banana and clove notes along with the wheat malt are present, but there is also a distinct tartness and acidity from the kiwi also giving it a bit of a lemon flavor and pushing this one close to a wild ale flavor profile without the bugs. Finishes dry with more tart kiwi. Amazing.
Typical medium body of a hefeweizen with medium carbonation levels. Good beer for a hot summer day.
I was floored by this beer. Kiwi seems to be the perfect addition and this one went fast. It was almost as refreshing as a cold glass of lemonade on a hot day only without the putrid taste of every "lemonade beer" I've had. I really hope they make this again in the future.
