Matte black with red edges under a short but persistent creamy blanket.
The smooth medium-light body has an almost crisp but milder carbonation which brings a nice woody chocolate roast that has hints of tobacco and contrasting marzipan and Reisen caramels. A mild but peppery Maker's-like whiskey cuts and accents with vanilla notes that come with a hint of banana skin and contrasting cola.
A tingly carbonation goes down semi-dry and lightly warming, exhaling chocolate pie crust. Its lighter body works here without detriment, as the swallow brings deeper, warming characteristics.

On tap at ITap. Poured an opaque, jet-black color with a small, light brown head of foam. It smelled of bourbon barrels, vanilla, chocolate, toffee and roasted malt. Boozy with bourbon, chocolate, toffee and vanilla.

This one pours a very dark black color, with a small head, and not much lacing.
This smells like cookie dough, chocolate dusting oak, bourbon, fudge, vanilla, and bitter booze.
I would definitely want this to taste a little bit thicker, but it's still a really well done BA stout. It's got loads of dark chocolate, along with barrel-aged chocolate chip cookie dough type flavors, smoke, dark fruit, vanilla, oak, and bourbon. There's a lot of delicate but intense flavors here.
This is medium bodied, with a silky and light mouthfeel, with a touch of booze on the back end.
This could be a touch thicker, and a bit more more-ish, but it's still a very impressive BA stout.
