Early in February of 2022, a group of brewer friends got together to celebrate the birthday of Mr. Steve Crider. They brewed a variation of Steve's go to "don't think about it" macro lager - Stag. The resulting beer is an easy-to-crush, floral and slightly sweet mash beer with a crisp clean finish. Cheers to you, Mr. Crider.

Clear light golden color with a respectable foamy white head.
The aroma is biscuits and crackers with a hint of herbal hops.
The taste is also biscuits and crackers with a hint of corn, slightly sweet. The finish is dry with mild herbal hops for a nice balance.
The body is light, good carbonation, crisp but smooth and very drinkable.
Altogether, this is a fairly tasty and very refreshing brew made for a session on a hot summer day, good with most food, typical lager but better than most, well done.

Pours a pale yellow color with a mild fog to the translucency. Head is two fingers of white foam. Aroma is dry! Crackers and wafer malts with mild biscuit and bread malts. Spicy hops. Flavor profile is crackers, wafers, and biscuits for a dry and thin, crispy combo. Mild spicy hops add some zest. Mouth feel is crisp and refreshing. Good crispness. Thickness is thin. Overall, a crispy play on Stag that makes for a refreshing crusher.

poured from a 16oz can into a 2nd Shift “YOU DESERVE THIS!” stange - the epitome of proper glassware. pours a clearer straw gold with a finger and a half of white, bubbly foam suds. a very macro lager nose. slightly floral hops, bready malt, a very subtle ethanol / corn aromas as well, fits the bill perfectly in look and aroma (although the aroma is slightly better). taste is much more elevated than your typical macro lager. it’s a little hoppy, a bit malty and so very easy to drink. it has a medium-full mouthfeel with a perfect amount of carbonation. well done beer here. love the simplicity and while it tries to possibly be self deprecating it’s really perfectly, subtly complex and highly enjoyable. the “don’t think about it” statement is spot on - don’t think too much about it and just enjoy.
