Clear gold with one finger of dense white head that lasts about five minutes. Some rings of lace as the head drops.
The smell is bready malts with a whiff of grassy hops.
The taste is bread crust malts with good zing of herbal grassy hops.
Good mouthfeel about medium with plenty of carbonation. The finish is dry and mildly bitter.
Overall a tasty pale lager. No date on can.

im not going to tell you that a craft lager, their answer to a pbr or something, is one of the highlights of my oregon trip, but context is everything, and with a bowl of turtle soup at eat up the road from the brewery, its tough to beat this one. its creamy feeling, bigger bodied than the adjuncts, with through the roof carbonation and a nice dry finish with a little hop bitterness that lingers after the swallow. a refresher and a palate cleanser if i have ever seen one. nothing special to look at or sniff on, but there is a nice flavor to it, fresh grain, all malt im sure, pale and crispy, and a nice grassy hop note. the feel is what makes it though for me, lagers like this are made or broken on that, and this one nails it. a nice oily and spicy turtle soup needs a beer like this, and this literally could not be a better fit for it. a perfect contrast and a perfect companion. good in hot weather too, not that oregon gets a ton of that. i think its cool a craft brewery puts in the time and fermenter space to make a quality pale lager like this, im sure i would have this all the time if i lived up there...

Nice clean lager. Low bitterness. Easy quaff. The weird thing was that one of the cans in the 6 pack was empty after a couple months storage in my 'cellar'. Could not deter any holes, nor any beer.

Brilliant clarity with a light straw color. Thick mousse white head that sticks around.
Grainy pils malt aroma with the slightest suggestion of corn.
Delicate flavor with clean lager character. Nice balance between spicy hop bitterness and grainy malt sweetness.
Effervescent, crisp mouthfeel.
A good, drinkable everyday lager. Crisp but high quality.

I poured it into a tall chilled glass, initial smell brought back memories of "Hams" circa 1970.
nice inch and a half foamy head. Light straw color. A little bitter, fairly clean and light. Worth trying, but wont be a regular purchase.
Nice retro can.
