a collaboration with humble sea and a nice hazy, fruit forward and easy for summer, lighter feeling for its somewhat sturdy abv, good mix of hops in here, extremely low bitterness but its not too sweet either so balance is there. some murk but not too heavy, light orange, frosted look, short white head but good retention and lace. the nose is peach and mango, tropical and summery, while the flavor leans a little more citrus to me, canned mandarin, clementine, even kumquat, neither very sweet, but well dry hopped and pretty saturated in that regard, would love to know what the hop bill looks like, and i think its cool how the nose and taste each do something a little different on the hop side. wrinkles of pineapple, orange juice concentrate, and dried apricot, all fruit, no real dankness, piney vibes, weedy intensity, or herbal zing. the malt is drying, slightly raw to me, supportive in texture, and this is real well carbonated too which adds to the easy drinking nature of it. even off from what seems like max freshness, its very good. lower bitterness than most, not cloying in its place, ever so slightly yeasty late. nice recipe, thanks to my friends for sharing a can, had not seen this one before. definitely a hazy that fits the summer season, not too much in hot weather which i feel like is rare for the modern hazy in my mind. nice.

16 oz can.
Golden pour yields a firm foam fist high head. Solid. Great retention. Confident lacing.
Nose pops with orange and grapefruit zest. More subtle notes of apricot and berry chime in as well as a hint of malt.
Flavor definitely rocks citrus forward, goes through a bit of apricot before going slightly herbal, almost dank, in its bitterness. Malt base comes through with a grainy, biscuity note.
Mouthfeel is medium, great carb, and a smooth bitter close.

Packaged April 29, enjoyed on May 26th - poured from a pint can into my Dogfish Head shaped pint glass.
Oats and Pils malt. Dry hopped with Citra, Mosaic, and Sabro.
Opaque peach/amber body with a small stand of off-white soft peaks upstairs. Fine soapy lacing; decent retention.
Tangerine, lemon-lime, tropical, and floral aroma.
Flavor follows the nose but is more subdued. Hints of white tea, vanilla wafers, coconut, and bubble gum, leading into a medium-dry, lightly bitter, slightly dank finish. Summery and balanced.
Creamy, medium-bodied, almost chewy. Slightly warming yet refreshing.
Reminds me a bit of some of Modern Times' early hazy beers with their more forward bitterness - though this is more subdued.

Canned 4/29/25, consumed from a tall tulip on 5/23. Deep gold/ orange. Opaque, no visible solids. Tall tight head with a barely-there orangish tinge. Nice lacing. Not much smell, but I can barely smell anything, so I my smell score is generous. Taste is citrus (grapefruit) plus, I think some apricot or other stone fruit. very fine carbonation; almost more like a mild acid etch feel than discreet bubbles in the mouth.
