On tap at King's Row Gastropub in Pasadena, CA.
Pours a clear light copper with a foamy bone colored head that settles to a small cap on top of the beer. Foamy streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, caramel, and herbal hop aromas. Taste is much the same with a biscuit flavor as well. There is a mild hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer that is drinkable but basic.

Allow me to begin by offering a disclaimer. This beer is not one that I would choose to drink. However, I'm making my best effort to be fair in making an objective rating. While the aroma and flavor aren't ones that appeal to me, the quality and craftsmanship of the beer certainly show through. It pours a clear amber-golden color with a white head that familiarly sits atop many of Fig Mtn's brews. There's an apricot nose with grassy notes to follow. Mouthfeel is wet and thin, but pleasant and complimentary to the beer. Apricot flavor that is reminiscent of a Magic Hat #9 only much subtler and with extraordinarily more quality. It finishes quickly and cleanly making it a very drinkable beer.
