Part of a flight of four at Barhop's Sequim taproom, this was a first release and it showed. Sailish Seas follows the style, but also doesn't do too much that is interesting. It has some foam on a dark amber bod, but nothing inviting. It Smells mostly of malt blended. Only above average barely is the Tastes which are good for a malt-head like me, but the American palate requires more hops. Medium-mouthed. Soft.
I liked Barhop in that they take their baking seriously.
