A: Pours a nice golden hue with a nice head. Good retention noted with a touch of lace.
S: For something calling its self Extra Bitter Special Bitter this one is rather malty. There are hints of spice and just a touch of hops.
T: The taste pretty much matches the nose. This one is much more on the malt than the hops. The malt is nice and biscuit and the spice noted in the nose is very light. The hops are there in the finish, but not real noticeable.
M: Medium in body
D: Nothing particularly special or bitter about this one. It was nice to try, but nothing to write home about.

The smallish head sticks to the sides of the glass. The beer is the color of iced tea with a nice glow. The aroma is malty with bits of toast and chesnuts and the flavor is crisp. The hops are small and spicy in the finish with a little lemon mixed in.
