I got a can of this beer off the single shelf from my local Giant Eagle store. It poured a clear golden with no head and no lace. The scent was fairly nondescript. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with subtle lime zest. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good drinking beer.

L: Clear amber with 2 fingers of foamy head.
S: The lime jumps out right away, with a yeasty lager underneath.
T: The lager in particular is Brewkettle flavored. The salt & lime take a backseat in this one, it's most apparent on the finish.
F: You could pound 6 of these in no time. It's lightweight, also wholesome and buttery.
O: Very good to extremely good. I would say this is on par with Rhinegeist Cheetah, which is a huge compliment.

This is a "Mexican style lager brewed with sea salt & lime". 12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours golden with great clarity and transparency with bubbles racing upwards; creamy white head that falls leaving great retention and sticky lacing. The aromas are balanced. Hints of lime, corn, fresh bread, crackers, grains and caramel. Malts are there. The flavors follow the nose. The lime comes through, especially in the finish. The sea salt is on the mild side and almost goes unnoticed. More corn, bread and crackers. Lots of grains. Some fresh grass in the mix. Malts do their thing. Alcohol goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is nice. It's light-bodied with active carbonation. It's sharp, crisp, fizzy, fluffy, smooth and easy to drink.
This is a nice lager. It's very refreshing and fitting for the warmer weather. The lime ultimately shines, but doesn't dominate. Everything is balanced. Well done. I like it.
