Collaboration with Earnest Brew Works. Canned on 9/16/20. 12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours a copper/amber with some haze; creamy light khaki that falls slowly leaving great thick retention and sticky lacing. The aromas are on the mild and subtle side. Lots of malts hints of apple and caramel. It doesn't smell bad or anything, it just doesn't have a whole lot going on. The flavors are on the sweeter side, but it's not cloying or anything like that. More apple leading the way. More caramel along with some vanilla and cocoa in the mix. It's mildly tart, but in an enjoyable way. Lactose does its thing. Solid malt backbone. Alcohol basically goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied with moderate carbonation. It's fluffy, creamy, smooth and easy to drink.
This is a decent brew. The apples shine. The best part is that it doesn't come off as artificial at all. It also finishes dry the same way it does with an actual apple, which is pretty cool. It's a clean brew. Not bad. I just wish the cinnamon was noticeable. The cinnamon basically goes completely unnoticed. That would really take this one to the next level, in my opinion.
