Served on tap at lager temperature in standard pint glass
Aroma – not noticeable
Head small (1 cm), creamy, off-white, mostly diminishing
Lacing good
Body clear, light orange
Flavor slightly bitter with slight hops presence. No diacetyl which would have been both acceptable and desired. No alcohol, no malt. Ends slightly bitter.
Palate is light to medium, watery, with soft carbonation.
This was an acceptable low alcohol (5.5% abv) ale since I was driving and went well with my pulled pork sandwich, slaw, and beans. While it wasn’t great, it was quite acceptable for a US spin on a Brit ale.

Enjoyed on tap at the brewpub. An American style spin on the traditional British ESB. Golden colour very lacey. Not as straight up bitter taste as would be the style, still a decent bitter beer. Medium mouthfeel, appropriately carbonated. Mild hop aroma.
