Tastes of acidic fruits with hints of caramel. Smell is similar to cider or wine. Look is straw and pale. Depending on the pour this has an extremely frothy foam reminiscent If sea foam, but disappointingly the lacing doesn’t stay as it dissipates after 5-10 minutes (post-pour). Has a watery texture and finish that is very, very light.

Pours a golden honey with a hint of burgundy. Head is dense and consistent, forming an all white pillow on top of the beer. Head retention is good. Aroma is low notes of yeast, clove, banana, black pepper, dark fruits and bready, earthy malts. Fleshy rinds of dark fruit and yeast are the song here. Flavor profile is clove, yeast, cracked black pepper, dark and stone fruits layered over bready, earthy malts. While the front end of the flavor is balanced, there is a bite of bitterness on the back that tips the balance unfavorably. Mouth feel is velvety at the onset, but then breaks apart into a more distilled, watery texture. It has a medium consistency up front, with a medium-thin finish. Overall, fair, but the balance at the end of the flavor profile paired with the thinning taste is less than mesmerizing.

Copper colored and plenty hazy in complexion. There's a massive, frothy, off white head. The aroma is of lemon and earthy saison yeast. I'm tasting a bit of lemon and the earthy, peppery saison yeast. The lemon note is overpowering and distracting. The mouth is heavily carbonated and dense.

Poured out a hazy, golden yellow color with a small, white head of foam. It smelled of yeast, spices and toasted caramel. Good yeasty flavor with wheat, spices and caramel sweetness.

one of the better beers i have had from these guys, and a neat saison in that it is neither wild at all, nofunk or even rustic yeast to it, nor is it belgian, fruity, or loaded with those warm fermented esters, yet somehow it is still yeast driven, a neat ale yeast for sure, decidedly different than what i normally expect from "farmhouse" ales, but also very mild. straw and white wine notes to this lightly cloudy golden ale, white headed and bubbly all the way. light fruit notes here too, apricot or peach, floral honey, mild citrus. the yeast casts a lot of that, and a dry spice profile as well, but its all real subtle, even the alcohol impact seems minimal for this being on the stronger side. harvest timey in its vibe, fresh wheat and euro pils type malts, lightly bready, biscuity, and honey sweet for a second. gorgeous earthy hops to finish, more citrus, but this isnt bitter hardly at all. awesome carbonation and a decent body, and like most of the stuff i have had from these guys, its a well made beer but a bit on the safe side. better than a lot of other american made saison types without wild yeast or wood ageing. good work, easy drinking too for its strength.
