Pours hazy dark gold color, not too much of a head for the style.
Enormous peach aroma emanates from the bottle with pretty typical saison aroma otherwise.
The peach aroma is not as strong after the pour, and it is quite weak in the taste. No funky notes, but a decent level of fruity tartness, but the peach flavor is hiding somewhere in the taste, leaving a very good but decidedly typical sour saison. There is a little pepper spice after several sips, but this beer seems a bit insipid for the style.
Wine-like feel, acidic tingle, medium-bodied, dry finish. A bit heavy and dull for the style.
Overall, it is a good beer, but I would like it to be more lively and have more peach character beyond the tartness, plus the spices normally associated with the style seem muted.
