Serves in a pint glass at Ale Arsenal.
A: Clear lightly hazy gold. Good head and lacing.
S: Gentle and herbal spicy hops. Biscuity malts.
T: Gentle, again, and unassuming. Ivanhoe and Gargoyle hops. Heirloom. Dirt. Grass. Earthy minerals. Had better and worse. Very English.
M: Crisp and eminently consumable.
O: Drinkable. And interesting. But utterly uninspiring.

Tastes like a Pale Ale at the first few sips, but it does have plenty of hop flavors. After a while, though, you realize this is a hugely hopped-up IPA that is just a little slow to release the toxins.
Classic amber color with beautiful foam, and bubbles that renew on every sip. Toasty grain flavor with a slight astringency. A modest malty sweetness before the hops rise up. Tangy a faintly fruity. A wee hint of pineapple in the nose.
Crisp and flavorful, but a bitter pill to swallow. On tap at Tiger Tiger in San Diego.

On tap at Tony's Darts Away in Burbank, CA.
Pours a hazy yellow-orange with a foamy bone head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Foamy rings of lace line the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, citrus fruit, and floral aromas. Taste is much the same with earthy citrus zest and floral flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is an above average beer with some earthy but mild flavors.
