2024 edition.
West coast with all the new school accruements. I’m talking stone fruit, peaches, and mango notes from the hops. Juicy, with some weight, but not heavy. Cracked this open after a long, long day and it hit the spot.

Pours an effervescent and bright gold with a thumb Plus of whippy Ivory colored head. Nice lacing and above average head retention
S: Green melon and coconut, peaches once warm
T: Follows the nose hints of Peach and dryness and lime up front. Dryness lime green melons and a little grassiness as this beer warms up. Some pomelo in the finish along with dryness, some white grape as well
MF: Medium body with light carbonation all right balance
Not a bad drinking beer but I would never think this was a West Coast IPA and a blind tasting

My scores are a mash up of how this beer compares to the style description (not well at all) and how well I liked this in the absence of consideration of the stated style. Can dated 3/4/22, poured into a tall tulip 5/11/22.
This is by no means a classic West Coast IPA. It is very hazy. There is no pine or resin coming through in smell or taste. It is very low in bitterness. It does have some nice initial head and leaves some reasonable amount of lacing. It has a unusual flavor profile that I was unable to put my finger on until I read some of the reviews from others: caramel. Call it power of suggestion or inability to recognize it because it did not match my expectations for this style of IPA, but caramel is the closest thing I could come up with to describe the flavor. Overall not a bad tasting beer but not at all what I expected from a WCIPA

A very great beer that’s light, but strong. Very fluid indeed! This one will sneak upon your mind faster than a greyhound!

Such a well-crafted and delicious beer. Lots of fruit, some bitterness, no pine. Mouthfeel is a little flat, but who cares? This is so tasty that I immediately want about three more.

Pours into an imperial pint glass a burnt orange color with a thin quick to fade head atop.Quite citric in the nose with underlying caramel malts showing thru as well.To me this isn't what I think of when I think of west coast ipa on the palate, yes there is a decent shot of grapefruit pith but no pine resin.I't very citric and sharp with some biscuit malts underneath.Eh it's ok but not true to the style...In my opinion.
