Jahrzehnt was brewed for (and also with) our friends at Bottlecraft for their 10th Anniversary. Based off of our Rotating Hop Series, we hop this beautiful lager with traditional hopping techniques, using the same grain bill and mash profile for each brew. This special anniversary rotation features New Zealand Motueka hops for a refreshingly zesty tropical flavor. "Jahrzehnt" is German for "decade", which, coincidentally is how long both Bottlecraft and Enegren have been in operation.

Picked up four different beers from Bottlecraft while in Liberty Station, but went there for this one. Online description for this one was “Jahrzehnt was brewed for (and also with) our friends at Bottlecraft for their 10th Anniversary. Poured a pale-to-medium yellow clear color with 2-to-3 fingers of frothy white head. Could see some bubble streams coming up along the sides and from the bottom of the glass. Excellent spotty lacing. Outstanding retention. (Sight - 4.25)
Smelled lemon, herbal, menthol, tea, lime, Motueka, coconut, pine, green leaf and hints of earthy malt. Much of the same from the can. (Smell - 4.25)
Tasted about as good as the nose. In order got Motueka, lemon, herbal, menthol, soap, tea, lime, pine, green leaf, coconut and hints of earthy malt. (Taste - 4.00)
Light body. Oily texture. Lively carbonation. Clean, crisp finish. (Feel - 4.50)
Another great beer from Enegren. Reminded me of their Rasenmäher Bier. (Overall - 4.25)
