Mild, dark German style beer. 21 IBU.
Dark chestnut brown in the glass. Very light bodied. Lots of roasted malt with more than a touch of burnt malt bitterness to go with the hops. As the malty sweetness fades, the different bitter qualities linger in the aftertaste.
Carbonation is light, but a good mouthfeel with watery, quaffable body. Clean and well made, and more flavor than a lot of other domestic versions.
