July 2002: This is my local pilsner - I wish I could give it a higher rating. It is probably the most bitter of all Norwegian pilsners, which may be said to give it some character. Fizzy carbonation, head disappears quickly. Good from draught in summer, otherwise you will find that the new Tou BlÄ (Blue) has a lot more going.

This is a beer previously made in Stavanger Norway and introduced to me by my Norwegian friends on my last visit. There is ugly history now that the brewery was bought and closed. Tou is now made in Oslo and rarely drank by the locals in Stavanger.
The beer is very clear and always pours with a thin head (at least every place in Norway that I have ordered it). The taste is clean and uncomplicated (just tastes like quality beer). The aftertaste is a bit too wheaty for me and keeps me from pegging the taste category at 5.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
