Nail Brewing’s take on a draught lager style beer. Refreshing, full flavoured with no lingering bitter aftertaste.

While UnTappd has Quokka Brewing listed as a subsidiary of Nail Brewing, I decided not to pile more work on BA monitors by asking them to add Quokka (whose presence is mostly in Nail's master brewer's head.) Let Quokka develop a few more beers before adding. (Change my decision if you want.)
First, I explain my Overall Hugs. I briefly describe Nail's unusual drama in my immediately previous review. I like Nail's story and both brews I drank show talent. Second, The Quokka is a marsupial (a cute, small kangaroo) specific to Western Australia. Always nice to brew with local flavor, or heritage.
Quokka is a clear pale, but without much foam. Smells also are average, mostly malt. Tastes introduce hops in the mid-palate and finishes mild. Medium-mouthed for a low ABV. Smooth. I'd have again on a hot day. But it will be several re-releases before Quokka gets to export status.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
