On draft at the brewery, it pours a very pale and hazy light yellow color with a fizzy white head. It has alot of active carbonation.
The nose is apple, lemon, floral, wood, and a fair amount of booze (brandy). The brandy barrel really takes this to a different level. The flavor is lightly tart, not overly dry, lemon-lime, more apples and citrus. The mouthfeel has a little soda-like quality due to the spritzy carbonation.
Overall, this was a fun beer and is quite tasty. Unique and good is a winning combo in my book.
