Pours a foggy golden-orange with a finger of dense white foam. Head retention is good. Aroma is yeast, plum, dark fruits, banana and clove. Aroma crescendos and decrescendos beautifully, creating a dynamic melody of notes. Flavor profile is clove, banana, dark fruits, banana, cracked black pepper and herbal and spicy hop and bready, earthy malt notes. Imagine slicing into a freshly baked loaf of bread having just eaten a banana. It's full and forward. Mouth feel is effervescent, swelling on the tongue just a touch. It has a medium-thick consistency. Overall, a flavorful and dynamic saison.
