Beer has a nice clear brown color to it. A fairly fruity hop note in the smell and taste. The beer also has some roasted notes that mix well and leave a nice toffee end. Overall, not bad and worth trying.

The brewery lists this as a "dark Czech lager" and it seems as if it might fit in the dunkel style.
A: the beer pours brown, dark tending to black, but more obviously brown when held to the light. There was very little head on this beer, but the small bubbles line the sides.
S: dark sugar hints, caramel to molasses, but not strong. I also get some banana hints.
T/M: the taste is lighter than the smell, but with some of the same flavors. The taste definitely adds some crisp lager feel. This lighter taste allows a mild bitterness to grab hold a bit, but not nearly as much as I expect from a Czech pils (assuming their description holds some weight.
O: this was a pleasant surprise in taste, from the more dark sugar brining and the crisp feel. As a lager, however, it did tend to lose something as it warmed, but shame on me for doing this review instead of enjoying the beer.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
