On tap at Keg and Lantern Brewing Co in Brooklyn, NY.
This one pours a slightly dark amber/brown, with a small head, and a little bit of lacing.
This smells like slightly sweet fruity yeast, caramel and toasted bread.
I'm not super up on how a truly traditional ESB should taste, but I thought this was a very nice rendition. I got a mildly fruity character from it, some great maltiness, and a mild grassy hop character. If I'm nitpicking, I think the hop character could be little higher.
This is medium bodied, with a creamy mouthfeel, and a moderate level of carbonation.
A nice bitter here, I feel a little more hop character would amplify it even more.
