First, it has to be acknowledged that this reviewer doesn't much like peach flavor in beer, although a plain ripe peach isn't bad. But in a beer? This bias must be confessed, prior. Now, a pint of this is released into a clear glass liter mug. There's no head, nor lacing on the glass innards and there's only a light straw color. An updated revisit shows a darker orange-amber. Recipes change. Points deducted because it smells more like a lactose beer than a peach beer. In fact, there's very little peach behind the lactose-like odor. Either there was a change in recipe,or this was incorrectly reviewed previously. Now, the softening and body building agent is maltodextrin. It's better than lactose. Maybe worse than smelling peach in one's beer would be smelling only lactose. Still the taste is a terrible mixture of milkshake like beer and muddled fruit. There's less lactose style infused here, but it's still hard to tell which fruit is included. The carbonation expires well before any reasonable conclusion time of finishing the pint. Most beer drinkers are open-minded about inventing new twists on our favorite beverage. Some work out very nicely. This wouldn't be one of them, but the effort and second effort. is still commendable.
