Cape May The Bog has a pale bronze pour and a sizable white head, sticky lacing. Fragrant on the sweet side (the cranberry) which translates well into the balanced texture and flavor. Spot On any Shandy spectrum, this is so tasty, easy to drink, refreshing. Clearly comparable to a hard cider, would like to have another one Bog. Excellent, wet finish.

A: The beer is rather hazy yellow in color and has a moderate to high amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high off white head that left a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface, a narrow collar around the edge, and some specks of bubbles clinging to the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of lemonade are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has additional hints of cranberries.
M: It feels a bit more than light-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation. No tartness is perceptible.
O: This beer seems like a shandy with a light splash of cranberries as you definitely get more of the lemon than the cranberry. It is very easy to drink and makes for a good selection on a hot summer day.

12 ounce can poured into a Duvel tulip glass. Canned 2/24/21.
L---Slightly hazy, bright gold color with a reddish tint. Fairly small white head that faded to a ring quickly and left little lacing.
S---Sweet, fruity. Cranberry and lemon as advertised.
T---Cranberry & lemonade. Sweet.
F---Light. I have a hard time believing there's even 3.9% in there.
O---I'm not very experienced with shandies, so I guess I liked it, but won't seek it out.

hazy medium pink in color, thin white head. Aroma definitely get a mix of mild berry and a little pale malt. taste is fairly fruity, only mildly tart. thin to medium bodied. pretty good for a fruit beer.

Medium carbonation with a medium light body.
Aroma is cranberry, cherry soda. With malt, bread , and wheat in the background
Taste is definitely sweet, almost too much but there's just a hint at some grain bitterness to keep it in check.wheat and cranberry linger in a pleasant way

Cape May Brewing Co. "The Bog"
12 fl. oz. can without production codes or freshness dating
$2.49 @ Total Wine & More, Cherry Hill, NJ
Look: Hazy pink-accented amber colored body beneath a finger-thick head of densely creamy and slightly pinkish off-white foam. Limited head retention and lacing.
Smell: Limited aroma with a mildly fruity note.
Taste: A good blend of sweet and mildly tart malt greets you, threaded through with notes of cranberry. It's basically one-sided, as most shandies are. It's not too sweet, and refreshing and fruity.
Feel: Medium bodied and dextrinous with a standard carbonation.
Overall: As far as shandies go "The Bog" is a pretty good example that's really well done. It's interesting that it came about by mistake as they've really nailed it.
