Thanks to vacax for sharing this one at GRG1313’s tasting.

Pours a murky light orange with a foamy white head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, spice, yeast, and floral aromas. Taste is much the same with floral and fruit flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of spice bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer that is tasty and easy to drink.

Pours a light orange with a lasting layer of white powdery head. Lace mapping down the glass. Fruity, bretty, saison aromas. A bit of funk.Above average mouthfeel.Understated carbonation (I Like). Very good tasting saison, saison yeast but prominent is the with blood orange ( a favourite as I can drink it and not ingest it solid owing to allergies). A great saison, thanks Brian for hooking me up.

On tap at Kickbacks in Jax. Poured into a snifter. Collaboration with Saint Somewhere. Clear, yellow/straw body, white head, minimal with low retention. Some clear lacing. Aroma includes candi sugar, rosemary, green apples, green grapes. Taste is mildly tart, mildly sweet, flavor follows the aromas. Moderately high abv, no alcohol noted on aroma or taste and extremely easy to drink. Not what I expected but quite tasty.

750mL courtesy of GT. Thanks!

A: First, cork got-damn near killed me. While I can’t deduct points for that, beware when opening these things. Beer is a beautiful golden color with a 1/2" head. Falls of the glass. Randomly moving bubbles throughout.

N: Sour lemon zest, heavy on the biscuit, straw, and lots of esters. The blood orange and the rosemary are somewhat, suprisingly, muted.

T: Semi-sour blood orange, brett, and soap. Very, very estery and funky. Pepper corn and a slight salty cheese. Rosemary shows up inside of the aforementioned funk. Horse blankets. WIthout looking it up, I guessed this was meant to be closer to Orval rather than a saison.

M: Light and crisp,, medium bodied. Has that touch of oiliness while somehow still remaining chalky that I associate with saisons.

O: Solid effort all around, and not a beer I’d turn down on any occasion. That said, I don’t know if this is something I’d feel the need to seek, either.

Wow.... this is world class... again.. this place can brew some saisons. Amazing balance of all flavors... huge orange flavors equaled meshed with herby flavors of rosemary and nice belgian yeast. It was nice and sour and went well with the acidity of the citrus flavor. Well done... i would love to see this done again.
