Anaheim Hefeweizen is a traditonal German-style wheat beer. This beer is unfiltered, giving it a hazy appearance. The yeast that remains in the beer adds flavor, body and vitamins(!) to hefeweizen. We use a special yeast to give our Hefeweizen a subtle clove aroma and a fruity hint of banana. These spicy, fruity notes blend perfectly with the cilantro, lime, and cumin used in Mexican dishes. There is nothing so refreshing as an Anaheim Hefeweizen.

12 oz bottle poured into cold glass
A: pours a slightly dark golden, looks less turbid than many unfiltered hefeweizens. Just about no head although my wife's Fat Tire had almost none too in the same type of glass. No lacing seen either but it might be the glass, too.
S: banana and wheat but the latter is light.
T: banana and a little bit lighter on the yeasty/wheaty taste than the typical hefe.
M: lighter than your standard fare in this class. It is very drinkable. This might be a hefe for those that aren't big hefeweizen fans.
O: Nice, light and drinkable hefeweizen
