12 ounce bottle into a tulip glass. Bottled 6/9/16.
Pours a cloudy amber color, with a one finger head and a good amount of foamy lacing. Lots of streaming bubbles, kind of odd for an IPA. Smell brings citrus hops- mango, pineapple, some grapefruit, some resiny hops, raspberries, light malt, some black pepper in the head. The taste finds the raspberries a little stronger than the citrusy hops, a stronger malt presence, too. Still some resiny hops, some caramel. Some bitterness up front, it returns and lingers on the finish. Not a sweet beer. Smooth, a really good medium body, refreshing, a little creamy.
Interesting beer, like it a lot. The raspberries are very natural tasting, they blend well with the hops, the malt provides a solid backbone. Hope they still have some bottles next time I stop there. Worth a purchase.

A bottle dated 06/09/16 from the six pack I purchased at the anniversary release poured in my Greenbush snifter/tulip.
Look- Pours a dark brownish/orange color with a few centimeters of quickly settling off white foam.
Smell- Sour raspberries, melon, mango and cheesy yeast esters.
Taste- Tart raspberry, floral notes, and a hint of citrus.
Feel- Mildly tart with a dry finish.
Overall- While not mind blowing, it is a nice mildly tart raspberry beer that tastes a bit like liquid candy. A bit heavy for a lawnmower beer, but tasty nonetheless.

This is a solid offering. Perfect for a hot day. If you like playing with a little raspberry and a solid IPA, this is a must try. I'm usually a little suspicious of adding fruit to IPA's. But this one is done so well. The raspberry is enough to be a refreshing addition yey still lets the hops take a major part.
