12 ounce crowler into a tulip snifter. Filled 5/31/21, had 6/10/21.
Pours a medium amber color, clear, with a half inch very quickly dissipating head and some slick, foamy lacing. Aromas of strawberries, caramel, vanilla, light habaneros, faint bourbon. Flavors of strawberries, habaneros, caramel, bourbon as it warms, light malt and vanilla, a little oak. Has a decent heat level. Smooth, a thin lighter body, under carbonated and borderline flat.
This didn’t do well over 11 days in the crowler and I’m thinking it’s the can and not the time. Still, the strawberries and peppers were good- although the latter was more heat than flavor and aroma. The barrels were ok, the feel was awful. I’ve had regular ATO in bottles and it’s much better. Wish this was bottled.
