Poured into a goblet: color is straw gold, head is off white with fine bubbles and presents one finger thick, head dissipates t nothing, thin top along glass sides, not much lacing.
Smell is base malt, slight saltiness with belgian/saison yeast character, not too much funk some dryness, earth, grass.
Taste is malt, yeast, bread, light lemon and pith, earth, light grass, some drying.
Mouthfeel is moderate carbonation, moderate sweetness, light dryness with lingering salty fullness, some bittering.
Overall a saison-like quality with added depth from the saltiness, more dryness with warmth.

(12 oz can, canned on 03/21/23; purchased cold single at Pinocchio's today... decanted into my St. Bernardus goblet)
L: clear, pale brassy-yellow liquid; foam slowly gushed from the can and built a head filling half the glass
S: really really bready, creeping into Bavarian soft pretzel territory; soft citrus oil perfuminess... an overall scent shape not too unlike the Dupont strain... floral-scented soap
T: basically Dupont, but with a slight salinity spiking up the malt expression in the finish; not getting any 'kelp' per se, but its nuances may be lost in the sea salt charge and/or the yeast aromatics... with some of the sediment spilled in, it seems like it and the salt combine to bloom the breadiness of the malt, giving it some depth and density; lemon pithy highlights
F: foamy fluff, fleecy soft... approaching medium-bodied only in its expansive burst of carbonation each sip... subtle back end spicy warmth
O: it's good... basically Dupont with some subtly-added salinity... enjoying these flavors, I'd naturally drink this again (2219)
