(12 oz can, canned on 10/06/25; purchased cold 6 pack from their Portland taproom... poured into a Teku)

L: (hefe-)cloudy amber liquid with a dense, silky foam which rises above the lip of the glass and slowly crumbles into jagged peaks... very little lace, despite its lovely foam

S: huge pop of fermenting dough, hints of mashed banana and band-aid... explosive intensity and depth... phenols get sharper as it goes

T: much of the same on the palate, though an initially subtle bitter orange or grapefruit citrus note gradually builds its presence in the aftertaste... the overall flavor seems to have more in common with a hefeweizen, with its rather sharp spice being perhaps the biggest differentiator... seeing how's it's billed as a 'hoppy blonde ale', I'm now tasting them, and it's reminiscent of a hoppy Duvel or Houblon Chouffe in character

F: medium-bodied but thick and fullish up front... seems like some residual sediment coats the palate, while a peppery spice slowly builds, prickling the palate in the aft... well carbonated; my belly bubbles... face is flush; invigorating

O: somehow never had this until this past week... I was loving drinking it straight from the can... the doughy malt opens up more from within the glass... it does remind me of a Saison Dupont (or Fantome?) to a degree, just dirtier (and much more hoppy), and maybe romantically more to the rustic images I'd have of drinking saison on a farm... gotta try and find this around my area; quite enjoyable! On draught.
Slightly Opaque gold color, the head dissipates into a nice collar, little lacing.
Grassy malt, rustic grain, hints of sassafras and honeysuckle from the yeast in the background.
Enjoyable mouthfeel, nicely carbonated.

On tap at Fattey Beer Company in Rochester, NY.

This one pours a slightly hazy golden orange/amber color, with a fluffy head, and a bit of lacing.

This smells like hop spice, floral notes, pepper, clove, and lemon peel.

This really is basically a Belgian IPA, which I never see anymore. There’s a really nice clean lemony and clove-like yeastiness to this, with a spicy, floral, and lightly peppery hop character to it.

This is light bodied, but almost creamy on the back end, especially as it warms a little.

I feel like this one is almost an American-Belgian classic at this point – it’s really quite nice.

I really like the saison style and this one is very good. Very fragrant, smells sweet but not at all cloying to drink.
