Mild haze to the dirty gold color. Small head that settles to no bubbles; thus no lace at all.
Golden ale malt aroma with some dry bark (like root beer). Some citrus.
This is a fruitier Saison than most. I taste a bit of lemon and licorice. Low carbonation but an equally low body. The aftertaste is all black licorice. Interesting and easy to drink.
