So this is something different. I was at a grocery store that sold Polish beer this week, and I wanted to try something that wasn't a light beer. May I present to you, the Warka radler. It's described as a beer with a black current juice mix with about 2% alcohol. It pours a lighter red with a pink head. The nose is sharply chemical mixed with fruit aroma. Unfortunately, The taste is similar to the aroma. I will say this is definitely better cold, some of the chemical notes seemed to be masked by the temperature.

500ml canned early 2020 poured into a nonic.
A: Clear dark ruby; fluffy white head quickly disappears; no lace.
S: Grape juice; hints of mint and darker berries, currants.
T: Grape juice again but with more of that mint character, leading to a nice impression of blackberry mojito. Tart and sweet.
MF: Light; sugary; sweet; tart.
O: I think it’s OK for what it is, a 2% beer that’s probably brewed with sugar and other ‘natural’ flavors.

500ml can served in a wine glass.
Pours a purplish red with a small head. Smell is grape soda but not so sweet (though close), maybe with a little bit of biscuit.
Taste is grape juice.
Mouthfeel is light but sticky. Overall...it's on the juicy sweet side of radlers. It's fine if that's what you're looking for.

Pours slightly hazy, purple in color with 1/2 inch head. Taste is big black currant with a touch of lime on the finish. Light bodied, tart, sweet, with moderate carbonation. Makes for a solid radler. I prefer the straight lemon radler, but would get this again.

16 oz can from the Boise Co-op. Dark amber, purple body, light pink foamy head. Light grape aroma, taste is sweet grape juice. Lightweight, but as a radler thats about right. Average at best.
