Appears as light golden body. Rather aromatic, notes of citrus mostly grapefruit. Pretty hop forward on the taste. Grapefuit, some orange, sort of earthy of the back end.

Light bodied, easy to drink, a real go to for sessions here in Minnesota.

12oz can drained on a weird but beautiful day

Sappy hop signals snapped to the head, with the quickness. Missing the "IPA with water in it" feel, which is a good thing. If it's good enough at 4% like this it gets extra respect from me.

Steel Toe always does hoppy beer well

Poured a clear, golden-yellow color with a small, white head of foam. It smelled of citrus, grapefruit and toasted caramel. It tasted of bright citrus flavors, some piney bitter hops and sweet caramel.

I've enjoyed this one on tap at many fine establishments over the years. First time buying a bomber of it.
A-Poured into an IPA glass, this beer is clear and light golden with a thick 3 fingers of big bubbled very sticky white head.
S-Lots of aromatic hops pop out of the glass. Juicy fruit. Yum.
T-Lots of hops and not much else. Grapefruit, orange, oily, resin. Hoppy.
M-Light bodied, high carbonation. Fairly long finish but not overly bitter. More aromatic finish which I appreciate vs. a hammer to the face.
O-As good in the 22 oz bottle as it is on tap. A sessionable, big hoppy brew. One of the best out there in the session ipa category (seems like that should be it's own category as this is currently classified as an IPA). My favorite beer from Steel Toe.

On tap at the brewery. Clear golden body. Smells of light citrus. Pineapple, lime, a little tropical. Tastes more tropical than it smells. Grainy. Light citrus. Back end is cracker and cereal with a little bit of bitterness. Light, crisp, and outrageously drinkable. This is stupendous.

a great session ipa here, easily the lightest of the hoppy stuff i have had from these guys, and fairly on trend with the juicy citra and mosaic type hop complexion, although i am not sure which hops they use in this, it has that flavor and aroma to me, or something like it anyway. pale golden in color with a nice white head on it from the tap. the aroma here is juicy and insanely fresh, and citra comes to mind with soft lemon and tangerine notes and just a little bitterness. the beer is quite simple really, just a light honey sort of malt base on it, pale and easy barley, with the hops lower alpha in presentation and seemingly all late kettle and dry hopped, its what a lot of brewers are doing these days, but so few do it (or anything for that matter) as well as these guys. juicy and citrus forward through the finish, without much bitterness at all and a little peach or something to it as well and a mild floral note. delicious beer, not too light in body for being lower in alcohol, and a hop forward beer built perfectly for all day drinking any time of year. another fine brew from steel toe, cool to see it on draft a little bit too!

Pours a clear golden color with a thin white staying head. Smell of tropical citrus and some grassy herbal notes. Taste follows nose but not as strong it has a weak hop profile in taste has a small amount of pine bitterness in the finish. Mouth feel is crisp with subtle hops. I had many better session ale's this one is in the bottom half , wont be buying it again for both taste and format(bomber)

Poured from a 22 oz. bottle into an IPA glass.

Appearance: Pours a bright amber orange. Lots of rising bubbles and a solid finger of off white head that settles into a thin patch layer.

Smell: A juicy and resiny hop driven aroma with a scent of citrus and pine. Upfront scent of citrus hops with some orange peel, grapefruit, mango, passion fruit, and lemon with pineapple. Earthy hop hints of pine resin and grass. Light malt hints of grains, cracker, and caramel with yeast. A pretty solid aroma.

Taste: Like it smells, a juicy and piney hop driven taste with notes of citrus and pine. Juicy citrus hop notes of orange peel, grapefruit, mango, lemon, and passion fruit along with some pineapple. Earthy hop notes of pine resin and some grass. Background malt notes of cracker, grains, and caramel along with some yeast. A pretty nice taste.

Mouthfeel: Light bodied with a moderate amount of carbonation. Juicy, oily, and drying.

Overall: A very solid Session IPA, Nice juicy and piney hop flavor.

Pale golden color with a slight haze. A modest head forms and then settles to a thick film. Some spotty lacing is left down the glass.

A lot of hop aroma. Moderate dankness combined with pine, earth, and citrus. Some bready malt as well results in an aroma that I really enjoy.

The amount of hop flavor in this beer is impressive while keeping bitterness moderate. I am guessing the brewer used the wonderful Mosaic hop in this beer. The flavor is dank, earthy, piney, and a little citrus, mango, and passion fruit. Malt adds a little sweetness and biscuit flavor.

Light bodied and nicely carbonated. Just enough pep in the carb to liven the palate to the hoppy flavor.

A really good hoppy pale ale. If someone wanted to make a long session drinking this beer, they could do much, much worse.

Appearance: Arrives with a hazy goldenstraw color and is capped with an inch of foam; a few strands of lacing line the pint glass

Smell: Biscuity, with pineapple, tropical fruit and a hint of pith

Taste: A hint of biscuit and then the hops take over, bringing pineapple, tropical fruit and a slight pithy bitterness that appears after the swallow; the finish is dry

Mouthfeel: Light to medium body with moderate carbonation

Overall: I am always on the hunt for sessionable beers and this is one of the best in the pale ale category I have encountered; the brewery calls it an India Session Ale, so I have chosen American IPA as they style; it seems more like an APA to me but I will go with their choice
