This was another beer given to me by a friend when out to visit him in Littleton last Halloween. Haven't had anything from Denver Beer before and this was a nice, unassuming offering that checked off all of the proverbial boxes and was the epitome of an enjoyable session beer!
Pale as an American Lager could get, this was quite bright, topped off with enough head, and left behind enough dots of lacing that slid down the side of my glass after every sip. Loads of honey in the nose with some grass, Pale Malt, and grain underneath that as the taste was just as soft and enjoyable. Full-bodied, slightly sticky, and floral once it fully warmed up, this was *very* easy to quaff as I had a pace myself a bit throughout my session. A bit of grain emerged in the back as the carbonation wasn't terribly noticeable.
Between that and the lack of any perceptible booze, this would be the ideal beer to take out to the lake or in the cooler for after a hike. Canned on 9/18 of last year, it held up well and fit in well during this dead of winter time here in the northeast. Fun and freewheeling first impression from these guys as the label was on par with the Centennial State. Not all beers from Colorado have to be weedy hop bombs!

12oz can. Poured out a clear, golden amber color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left minimal lacing. It smelled of caramel, toffee and subtle floral notes. It tasted sweet with caramel and toffee. Mild bitterness.
