On tap during GABF week, and I had a couple. A dark(er) orange pour, seems murky but it's just the lack of bright pumpkin stuff, methinks. Medium-creamy head.
The aroma is a nice balance of pumpkin and spice. Neither one dominates, but together they push everything else to the side. No doubt, by the nose, this is a pumpkin beer.
Again, nice balance of pumpkin and spice. With the flavor comes a sense of meatiness from the pumpkin and dessert-ness from the spice. While some other p-beers taste like pumpkin pie, this is pumpkin beer. Quite good. A bit "bland" on the feel though. Not sure what I mean. Maybe more carbonation? Still, darn fine
