I took the Denver micro brewery tour over spring break, this was one of the beers on the tour.

I can't remember the process of how they add the peppers to the beer.

it is a lager so it is light, drinkable, and mellow. The color is a shade darker than most lagers. With a spicy aroma that smells smoky, almost like you walked into a taqueria.

the flavor is surprising there is no heat to the beer, just a great smoky pepper flavor.
easily one of the best beers that Denver has to offer for a lager.

i rated it higher just because this is the best chile beer i have had.

it beats out Rogues chipotle ale in my book. because it isn't over the top with the pepper flavor.

I'm always up for a chile beer, even though drinking a full pint isn't always a good idea.

Still, pours a dull gold, clean and clear. Soft, dense white foam up top, some lacing on down.

Chile aroma alright. Smoked Pablano peppers and roasted green pepper, some Serrano. Faint biscuit and light caramel in the back ground.

Yessir, chile flavors, too. Fire roasted green pepper, Anaheim. Slight smoke and light caramel.

Nice burn on this one. Not coating or flat. A bit more solid than a jalapeno, has more depth. I'm guessing Serrano. One pint is about all I can do, but I wanted more.
