I wrote it down as "Rose To The Occasion" but I suppose I was wrong.

Served on-draught into a 12 oz stem-snifter at Denver Beer Co. Cost was $5.00. Reviewed from notes taken summer 2012.

A: Pours a half finger biege colour head of okay cream, okay thickness, and poor retention. Colour is a hazy pale orange. No yeast particles are visible. No bubble show. Nontransparent. Somewhat dull. Non-opaque.

Sm: Off orange peel, strange lactic notes, cream, and clean malts. A light to mild strength aroma.

T: Bland orange peel, clove, wheat, and weird lactic notes that don't at all belong and negatively affect the balance. Bland, boring, and dull. Badly balanced and built. No real layering, complexity, or subtlety.

Mf: Smooth and wet. Overcarbonated. Too thick for the flavours and style.

Dr: Drinkable but boring and dull. The lactic notes don't work for it at all. Hides its ABV decently. I certainly woudln't get it again. Quite mundande. A poor offering from Denver Beer Co. I'm not excited for their other beers having tried this one. Pricey.

A saison brewed with rose water...added I think.

A light pour, nothing about it hints at rose. Pale golden, small head. Would like to see more in that department, as well as with the lacing.

Aroma is a bit dull for a saison. The rose water doesn't quite reach the nose-factory. Hints of spices, but not much. Nothing bad here

Flavor is more like it. Although the spices are still weak the rose water does make up for it. It's a bit perfumey and floral, but it's supposed to be.

Overall it could use a bit more spice and carbonation, but still a good beer. I can see this one evolving each time they brew it
