On tap at brewery May 20, 2016. Growler poured into Kane tulip glass.
L: 2F head with good retention, a little bit of lacing and a ring. Beer is a hazy copper.
S: Very nice forward grapefruit and orange peel and the wheat malt.
T: Follows the nose pretty closely, lots of citrus up front. Wheat backbone. Finish dry, but not bitter at all.
F: Light to medium body, light to medium carbonation. Good construction and balance. Dries nicely, but not too early.
O: Another very solid Kane creation, not an all-out hop or flavor bomb, but not intended to be.

Growler in a nonic.
Golden orange color, slight haze yet bright. The 2F head, white color with a tint of linen, has great retention in a lasting cap and lots of heavy lacing. Nice look.
Herbal, piney, grapefruit hops. Grassy, pale malt, dried cracker.
Tropical fruit flavors, some citrus. More pale malt than wheat. Some needed sugar which may explain the absence of wheat character.
Resinous full body feel. There's a hop bite with malt back bone. Lots of body for a wheat beer, but...
Overall, as wheat beers go, this one's quite malty. It's a good drinker with well concealed abv and I like it; wheat character is subtle.

Growler filled at Kane earlier today.
Pours a very murky, bright orange color with a two finger frothy white head that very slowly settles into a thick, lasting ring. Excellent retention, lingering for the duration of the pour and completely coating the glass with sheets of soapy lacing. The color is kind of odd with and tropical orange/mango juice or orange creamsicle character. Not the most pleasant looking beer but the foam head, retention and lacing are impressive.
Dank, earthy aroma that's bursting with sticky resins, dank nuggets and fresh cut grass countered by juicy tropical sweetness and a pale malt backbone. Slight soily character with pine needle, kind bud, skunk, resinous oils and subtle summit/onion. Earthy resins countered by prominent tropical/citrus fruit sweetness. Hints of mango, guava, white peach, blood orange and ruby red grapefruit stand out especially as this beer warms. Pale malt backbone with malted wheat, bread, biscuit and grainy cracker. Smells incredible with really dank earthy hops and fruit sweetness standing out. Wheat character is subtle not interfering with the other elements.
Full body with a blast of dry, earthy bitterness that lingers over the sweeter notes, malted wheat and pale malts into a bone dry finish. Really dank, sticky and resinous with grassy pine, spruce tip and juicy nuggets countered by really sweet citrus/tropical fruit. Tart fleshy orange slices with ruby red grapefruit, blood orange, clementine, papaya and mango. Really tart and juicy citrus flavor as it warms perfectly balancing out the bitterness. Pale malt with subtle wheat character that adds to the body/mouthfeel with sourdough bread, banana and citrus without overpowering or interfering with the glorious hop profile. So much damn citrus in there! Back end has some bread, biscuit and grainy cracker. Excellent balance and extremely crushable. Another great beer from Kane!

Growler, pours a very cloudy orange peach color with a white foamy head. There is some soapy lacing. The odor for me is citrus, grapefruit, mandarin, lemon, pineapple, green, herbal, pine, weedy, slightly spicy, slight grass. The taste for me is tropical fruit, grapefruit, herbal, pineapple, pine, woods, slightly spice clove, slight metallic, bitter throughout.
