32 oz growler purchased at Joe Canal's in Lawrenceville, NJ.
Poured into a pub-style pint glass.
Appearance
Brilliant red with 1 finger of off-white head. Excellent clarity with light carbonation.
Nose
Grapefruit, candied orange, pine, caramel, and toffee.
Taste
Caramel, toffee, and touches of molasses. Blended notes of grapefruit juice and pine. Hints of orange and lemon zest. Finishes with zesty florals and onion. Slight booze is apparent.
Mouthfeel
Medium bodied, crisp, silky, sticky, bitter, and dry.
Overall
Very malt forward with juicy hops intermingled. Finishes dry and piney with a nice warming effect.
