Murky yellow colors with and inch of white head. Citrus pine resin grapefruit very hoppy medium body and moderate carbonation.
Overall very hilly and tasty; liked it a lot.

Growler purchased 7/2/16 at the brewery, poured into Kane tulip glass.
L: Beer is a very attractive partly-hazy deep bronze. 3F head, not much retention, but leaves lots of sticky lacing and a ring.
S: Earthy, piney smell, which is what Simcoe-only will get you, exacerbated by wheat malt. Some peach fruitiness as well and maybe some mandarin orange.
T: More malt-forward than your typical Kane IPA, but with earthiness and dank pineyness shot through.
F: Light to medium bodied, medium carbonation for good drying. Good balance and construction.
O: I tend to the fruitier Hop Labs, this reminds me a bit of Tree House's Bright, but less herbal. As always, a pleasure to drink a Kane creation.

Fantastic hoplab offering. Citra is still by far my favorite, but this was great. The simcoe and wheat base blend so well together that really allowed the simcoe hop to shine. Medium body to it with a nice juicy citrusy taste.

A: Cloudy, orange juice appearance, with solid head retention and lacing.
S: Floral barnyard, Simcoe is prevalent.
T: Lots of pine and citrus
F: A little thinner than I expected, but a solid AIPA nonetheless.

Look - Looks identical to orange juice in the glass. Almost glowing. Super murky/hazed. Exactly how I like my IPAs to look.
Smell - Nice and tropical on the nose. Some citrus and grapefruit as well.
Taste - Dank, pine, cat pee, citrus peel, pithy grapefruit, herbaceous, grassy
Overall - Love the HopLab series! Another awesome beer by Kane. They are really starting to stand out as being one of the better breweries out, period.
