Pours orange/yellow with a medium white head. Aroma is citrus and a touch pine. Taste is also citrus and hop bitter, but with solid malt sweetness. Feel is excellent, smooth and coating. Overall, another fine example of IPA from Kane.

Gets to about two fingers of light tan to eggshell color, good retention with a dimpled surface, lacing is pretty thick for this day and age. Gauzily translucent rust orange colored liquid, largish and lazy bubbles spread out widely. Creamy texture helps it fill the nose, at times smells like an Orange Julius drink, some peppercorns, hay, beeswax and tar but nothing here suggests dankness, thick peach to apricot fruit without tropical bite, maybe a bit herbal if allowed to get near room temperature. Full-bodied, the carbonation sticks pins in your cheeks but doesn’t really churn so it can feel a little sluggish at times. Tangelo to lemon citrus helps it play sweet off sour, not especially floral nor piney. Big coating malt presence. Here there is some passion fruit, mango added to the orchard fruits but it’s all juiciness and no tang. Doughy, Indian mukhwas, has a subtle cleansing sensation on the mouth roof. Which is a way of saying it is a bit all over the map and focus is not its strongest attribute. That said, it needn’t be the case and I found myself going about my business, humming along as I sipped. We all need a good beer to drink without having to devote too much time to its analysis. Not really needing any help from anyone else, Mosaic hops cover the gamut of hop flavor, bitterness and scent and is perfectly capable of carrying the hoppy load all on by itself. But with a late push from Citra hops and Kane Brewing's Imperial hazy IPA swells into something of grandeur.
Peachy orange and with a heavy haze, Wind Swell crowns with a rich lather of ivory tinted foam. Breaming aromas of citronella, tropical fruit and deeper hints of dark berry, the hoppy scent is met with an herbal hemp and juniper tandem. Sweeter in its initial taste, a pastry rich character of shortcake, cereal and caramelized agave offer a savory and succulent tone early on the tongue.
Then the malt creaminess turns over its attention to the hops. The bold and radiance of citrus flavor leads with tangerine and red grapefruit ahead of a tangy and tropical taste of passionfruit, lime, kiwi and currant before leading into a spicy matcha finish with hints of mint, hemp and an overall botanical gin bitterness is a smooth and herbal display.
Creamy, medium full and hop balanced, the beer's imperial status carries an alcohol bite of vodka that tucks nicely behind the hops and tempered by the linger of sweetness. Eventually the hops win out with an extension of grassy and herbal bitterness to clean the palate and reassure a high measure of refreshment, crispness and drinkability.

Foggy pale amber with a tall, dense off-white head settling to a bubbly collar leaving thick layers of lace.
Taste is semi-sweet honey with catty and herbal dankness accented by spiced orange. It kind of reminds me of Hopslam, but a little more tame with a fuller body, coming to a powder dry, semi-bitter finish, exhaling graham.
